AUDITION FOR K.I.S.S.
DON GNU is looking for new talent for the show K.I.S.S. (Women in socks & sandals) - a tribute to all badass women who have fought and are still fighting to be seen, heard, recognized and respected.
We are looking for three female performers who want to be part of a physical action performance that investigate the life of the modern woman, to break her free of both internal and external expectations. The performance is developed in collaboration with Kamilla Wargo, who with an artistic team of women, throws herself into renewing and challenging the DON GNU language and creating a counterpoint to our successful M.I.S. universe.
K.I.S.S. is developed as a UNG GNU production, and we are therefore looking for new talents at the start of their careers. It is also a requirement that you are available both during the production and performance period, and then you must be comfortable performing without clothes, if this is required by the performance.
In addition, we encourage everyone regardless of age, religion, ethnic background, language etc. to send an application.
Application deadline: 1 November 2023. Based on the applications, we invite you to an audition workshop on 11 December in Copenhagen. You will receive an invitation to audition no later than November 8.

UNG GNU is DON GNU's youth department, making physical performances in a more experimental format, but with the same loving humor, poetry and raw physics as DON GNU is known and loved for. UNG GNU is both a hotbed for newly trained talents within the physical performing arts and at the same time an experimental meeting between the new and the more established forces, where new artistic expressions are jointly explored and developed.

Audition:
Is taking place in Copenhagen on 11 December 2023 between 10.00 and 16.00.
Production period:
November, December 2024 and February 2025.
NB! We produce partly in Aarhus and partly in Copenhagen.
Touring:
Premiere March 2025 in Aarhus and Copenhagen.
Afterwards a longer Danish tour is expected in the period March-May 2026. The performance is also expected to play at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August 2025.
